Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana’s recent 100 crore hit, Dream Girl 2, is now also a hit on streaming! Ayushmann, who delivered his 5th 100 crore film of his career with Dream Girl 2, is thrilled that the film is trending at top position across 10 countries!

Ayushmann says, “It is always a good feeling to see people being entertained by the work that I do on screen. I’m hearing the news that Dream Girl 2 is now trending in ten countries since its drop on the streaming platform, it feels great that more and more people are enjoying our comedy! It is one of the hardest genres to please people with and I’m glad that it has worked for them.“
For Ayushmann, he is relieved that his homage to Kamal Haasan’s blockbuster Chachi 420 is a huge success story.

Ayushmann says, “For me, Dream Girl 2 was a film where my childhood nostalgia came alive. I am deeply inspired by Kamal Haasan sir’s films and his phenomenal acting skills. Chachi 420 was a film that I thoroughly loved and Kamal sir was so convincing playing a woman. So, for me, I was getting to play a role that was similar to what Kamal sir had essayed on screen.“
He adds, “Fortunately, Dream Girl 2 worked for audiences and it has become a huge hit and continues to entertain people worldwide. It’s quite a confidence booster that my work has been appreciated coz it was always going to be my toughest attempt playing a woman convincingly.”
