Amazon miniTV, Amazon’s free video streaming service, recently unveiled the third season of its beloved political dramedy, Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare. Building on the excitement of the second season, this season delves deeper into the life of Ronny as he attempts to steer clear of politics, only for fate to lead him right back to his calling.
The latest edition of this franchise has garnered immense love from critics and viewers alike, who termed it as a feel-good and refreshing watch. Directed by Gaganjeet Singh and written by Zakir Khan and Gopal Datt, Chacha Vidhayak Hain Hamare S3 is headlined by Zakir, alongside Abhimanyu Singh, Alka Amin, Vyom Sharma, Venus Singh, Amruta Khanvilkar and Kumar Varun in pivotal roles.
The show is set in Indore, which also happens to be the birthplace of actor-comedian Zakir Khan. Sharing his experience of filming in his hometown, Zakir, who plays the role of Ronny, said, “Filming in Indore has been the most comforting experience. We love shooting there and try to explore the city, at least twice or thrice, during the shoot of every season.”
Amruta Khanvilkar, who brings Surekha to life on screen, is the newest addition to the cast of this fan-favourite franchise. Reflecting on her experience of filming and getting into her character, Amruta said, “After packing up, I used to find a chair to sit and chat with Aliya Curmally, the executive producer of the series. She used to tell me all about the first two seasons, detailing the entire journey of the show, as I am a new addition to the cast.”
Kumar Varun, who portrays Kranti, sheds light on the evolving dynamics in the new season and how it stands out from the previous seasons, saying, “This season is dedicated to celebrating mothers. While it can certainly be enjoyed with friends and family, I highly suggest watching it with your mother. This season encapsulates universal themes of warmth, care, emotions, love, and motherhood.”
The new season of Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare is streaming exclusively on Amazon miniTV for free within Amazon’s shopping app, on Prime Video, Fire TV, and Smart TVs, or download the app from the Play Store.
