Farhan Akhtar is one of the most hardworking people in the industry. After delivering a hit with his movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, the actor is all set to essay the role of a boxer in Toofan. In an interview with a leading daily, The actor opened up about the differences between training for Toofan and for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
Farhan shares “Getting the character of runner right was challenging physically, as there were a lot of races. However as I was part of the school athlete team and also had running in my fitness regime, it wasn’t something that I had to learn from scratch”.
The actor shared his first look from the film while ago and took social media by storm.
He further added “But boxing is something I have never done in my life. It is very demanding and not only about fitness but also about your endurance. When you are running, after a certain point you are on autopilot but in boxing, you have to think what other person is thinking. It is a tougher sport and has tougher discipline”.
Toofan is an Excel Entertainment Production in Association with ROMP Pictures, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and is slated to release on 2nd October 2020.
