After Major VFX Loss, Ashish Chanchlani Unveils Fierce New Ekaki Poster; Says “Get Ready for the Most Intense Chapter Yet”

Ekaki

One of India’s most celebrated digital creators, Ashish Chanchlani, stepped into an entirely new space with his directorial debut, Ekaki. Blending horror, comedy, and thriller elements, the series quickly hooked audiences with its engaging narrative, strong performances, and Ashish’s assured storytelling style. With every chapter, the tension deepened, drawing viewers further into its mysterious world.

The fifth and final chapter was originally slated to release on January 30, but an unforeseen technical setback disrupted those plans. Ashish addressed fans on social media, revealing that a hard drive crash had wiped out nearly 20% of the VFX footage, costing the team close to six months of hard work. Despite having big surprises lined up, the episode had to be delayed. Promising to rebuild and return stronger, he assured fans that the finale would be worth the wait.

After a short pause due to overwhelming viewer demand, Ashish recently dropped the teaser for the final chapter and confirmed its new release date: February 25. Now, as anticipation builds and the countdown begins, he has unveiled a brand-new poster for Ekaki Chapter 5: The Conqueror, calling it the most intense chapter of the entire series.

The eerie new poster shows Ashish and the cast bruised and armed, standing against a haunting backdrop with a giant, sinister robotic extraterrestrial figure looming behind them. The teaser also highlighted impressive VFX, striking visuals, and intense suspense, promising a power-packed and thrilling finale.

With Ekaki, Ashish Chanchlani takes complete creative charge, wearing multiple hats as the writer, director, producer, and also the lead face of the series. The project reflects his ambition and dedication, bringing his vision to life in a powerful way. He is backed by his close-knit team, with Kunal Chhabhria serving as co-producer, Akash Dodeja stepping in as the parallel lead, Jashan Sirwani handling executive producer responsibilities, and Tanish Sirwani shaping the show’s creative direction.

The screenplay has been crafted in collaboration with Grishim Nawanii, while Ritesh Sadhwani manages the production flow as the line producer, ensuring smooth execution behind the scenes. Delivering a refreshing and engaging narrative, all the released episodes of Ekaki are now streaming exclusively on ACV Studios’ YouTube channel.
